Love their food, but is this place open or not? I live close by and every time I drive by, is closed.
Best Chicken Tikka Masala in all of the Salt Lake Valley.
I am not a foodie nor familiar with Indian/Nepali Cuisine, my vegetarian daughter does like indian food. We thought we would give this place a try. I believe the food was made fresh and there was a bit of a delay, maybe 15 minutes, getting our food but I felt the food was worth the wait. I asked for a recommendation and they suggested the Chicken Masala which I thought was wonderful. I went with medium spice and felt it was pretty mild. Based on the reviews, Karuwaa Express - Nepali and Indian Cuisine serves delicious food with kind and generous service. The food is made fresh and is worth the wait. The Chicken Masala is wonderful, and the Tikka masala and garlic naan are fantastic. A vegetarian dish was as good as ever had. The portions are fine and can easily be split into two meals. The food is quality for the value and convenience, and the cashier generously offered a free mango lassi. The owners are personable and kind. The dining area isn't great, but the food for takeout is unbeatable. This may be the best Indian food in the Salt Lake Valley. Karuwaa Express is a must try place.
