I was visiting Sandy and wanted to try something local and came across Localz Bistro (true to its name). Went during lunch and tried the Jambalaya Wrap with Chicken and Seafood Gumbo soup. The soup was really good. There seemed to be only one server (John.B) during that time and he was nice and welcoming.

Wow, this place blew me away. I’m a foodie who gets to travel to great food spots worldwide. The chef has created an ambitious menu which the restaurant delivers superbly.Lovalz an interesting menu and was close to my ski vacation spot. But I was skeptical. I got a cup of gumbo as a tester and it is one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything else just got better and better, from caesar salad, blackened mahi, through the homemade cheesecake I usually resist.On top of that, the atmosphere was great. I was traveling solo and brought a book. But the folks on either side of the bar top were charming without being intrusive.I felt content on so many levels. I think they have swung my choice for next ski vacation!

Loved the fish tacos, hatch mac and cheese, and the burgers. The steak salad was excellent and had way more steak than I expected. Fantastic. The bread pudding dessert was equally amazing.

Andrew was our host, simply amazing. I went in for the prime rib roll because I saw a bad review that rubbed me the wrong way. I can attest that my prime rib roll was top notch. Tender, juicy and full of flavor. Hit the spot. Andrew's suggestion of the local Squatters IPA was delicious and completed the meal. I will definitely come back to Localz Bistro next time I'm in town. Thanks for a great time!

Fantastic, friendly service. Yummy, creative dishes. Great fish tacos, jambalaya, burgers and poutine! The fried cheese curds and truffle fries are a hit with our kids. Casual, relaxed atmosphere. Great alternative for skiers, close to Little Cottonwood Canyon and walkable from the ski bus.
