It’s always a treat to visit my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The cheese enchilada entree is enormous, enough for two meals, and delicious. Lamy and crew are cheerful and accommodating.

Lamy's | Mexican Grill is a takeout restaurant with tables, though the atmosphere is like a fast food joint. The outside looks childlike with window art, but the food is extremely authentic and very good. The dining room is always clean, and the service is fantastic—all employees are busy putting the customer first. Lamy welcomes customers, and the staff is pleasant. The food is always fresh, with fresh ingredients and fluffy, homemade tortillas. Generous portions are worth the money, offering good bang for your buck. Specific meals include the shrimp burrito, Birria burrito, Chili Verde (excellent, a favorite), chips and pork nachos, Chicken Quesadilla Crispy (delicious), Carne Asada Burrito (amazing), Chicken Plate (yummy), and steak nachos (absolutely huge with non-fatty steak). Chips are excellent and made fresh; guacamole is excellent. Choose spicy level and toppings. Everything ordered is loved, and Lamy's never disappoints. It is the best in St. George.
