Based on the reviews, Chubbys Cafe offers amazing service and amazing food with warm and welcoming staff. The name is accurate, as this is not a place for healthy food. The menu includes burgers, chicken, fries, scones, and shrimp poboys. The beer battered fries are awesome, and the burgers are good. The shrimp Po Boy is a new go-to item. The chicken jalapeno ranch with beer battered fries and the chicken bacon ranch sandwich are excellent. The restaurant has an extensive menu, amazing shakes, and sides to die for. Prices are higher than fast food but offer great quality, good value, and big portions. The atmosphere is a garage diner vibe with regular and jumbo booths, though it can be a bit noisy with bright lighting. The service is always good, with friendly staff.
