Great terrain but Snowbird is the worst run Ski Area in Utah! Not enough Ski Patrollers, so they can never get the mountain fully open. And they dont limit ticket sales when they can’t open the whole mountain. I’ve gotten up early to get to the Bird only to find out that only 3 lifts were running and the average wait time was 45 minutes for a lift! Not acceptable to me and I think Snowbird can do better.
Get terrain open faster! What is the reason for closing the Cirque Traverse, just because a few bad actors poached the rope lines? Why didn't some of the gates off Gad2 get opened when Peruvian side was closed all day along with Mineral Basin? Alta gets the terrain open a lot faster than Snowbird.
Snowbird needs to put limits on IKON pass users like other resorts do. Snowbird is all about greed, fast tracks sucks, $800 to have preferred parking, allowing everyone who wants...read full review
