Not only are the Empanadas delicious, they are MASSIVE! You get so much food for your buck here. The dough is thick with a nice crispy layer, and the fillings are packed in there. My favorite was the Pabellón. The sweetness of the pork and plantain pairs great with the saltiness of the cheese and beans. If you love Empanadas you must try these!

I just got home and ordered 5 empanadas and asked if they had added the sauce, they said yes and to my surprise when I arrived there was not even a sauce! I live 15 minutes from there, I'm not going back but for the cost you should pay attention to these details. Empanada without sauce is not empanada. Oh and I just realized they also forgot an empanada.

It's very pricy for the amount of food that they serve. The food is very bland. Service is not very friendly. If you're looking to eat good venezuelan food, you might want to go somewhere else.

Delicious!
Multiple filling options. We had the ham & cheese empanada and cordon blue pollo empanada. Both with plenty of tasty filling and big enough that I could only eat half.
If you are in the mood for a great empanada, it's totally worth the stop.

All empanadas are good. But my favorite is the seafood one, toasted and with a sweet touch. Recommended!!!

Bocados in my opinion makes hands down the best Venezuelan empanadas in the area. The dough has the perfect mix of crunch and doughy texture, with a slight sweetness that pairs very well with the very tasty variety of fillings. The price may be slightly higher than other Venezuelan places, but the empanadas are larger and worth the price.

Kid-friendliness: I have never met a kid that does not like an empanada or tequeno.
