“Awesome family owned Mexican restaurant. Staff was super friendly and our food arrived very fast. You get a big portion compared to what you pay for, and it’s good quality Tex-mex style stuff. These guys are struggling with inflation and tariffs affecting their business at the moment, so please go support them!“

“Just saw that this Cafe Rio site has a low star rating and I can honestly say I was surprised. This is the most consistent Cafe Rio location in terms of quality and timeliness in the area.

Just a few examples: the Layton site thinks that washing the lettuce means it now belongs in a soup and it the location is down in the traffic mess that is Antelope Dr. The Riverdale location randomly decides that you need to wait 45 minutes for a takeout order. The Farmington location's food is so inconsistent I'm not sure they can keep employees for more than a few days.

I have never had a wrong or bad order from this South Ogden location in the embarrassing number of times I have ordered there. The orders are ready on time and the staff is courteous. I tend to order on my phone so the food is ready when I arrive, so I don't mind not going through the traditional line. This is my go-to Cafe Rio location, and I expect it will be for quite some time.“

“Service is always prompt, courteous and friendly, food is always prompt, high quality, hot and delicious We have never had a bad experience there, even when they are super busy they can get you seated within 15 min or so, if I had to complain about anything it would be that they close at 9 pm, being that they do have a bar, you would think they would stay open until 11 or 12 on the weekends“
