Benji and his team have created something special! Not only is the food great, but the hospitality is top notch. The brisket is a must-try. The meat is the most tender, succulent and flavorful in town. We also tried the chicken and waffles which were also excellent. Highly recommended!

Great find! If you love good barbecue and especially barbecue that feels like southern barbecue, try Benjis. This is Lonzo Liggins host of PBS Utah’s Roots, Race and Culture. Found this spot when I was looking for some barbecue with a side of greens. Well, I found the spot. Brisket was tender, pulled pork was flavorful. Mac and cheese and greens, mixed with black eyed peas, were phenomenal. Not a traditional restaurant, it’s upstairs in a bar area, but the atmosphere was fun...
