I started I was gluten free only one staff member changed gloves. I then felt like an interruption while mid order, believe they were making drive up or to go orders while me bowls just sat there waiting to be finished until the original individual finally asked if someone was getting something for me! “Co-Located with Guru's Cafe in Provo, it shares some of the same aesthetics. I "checked in" on YELP at Guru's when we had dinner there and was "rewarded" with a coupon for a "free cookie" from Enliten Bakery. Normally, I don't accept gifts or discounts from places I review unless it is a printed coupon anyone can use and this offer seemed close enough to that standard to give it a try. Also, living hundreds of miles away there was not likely another opportunity to use it later. Generally, my view is if I wouldn't buy something, getting it for free with a coupon is "no great deal." It was a busy day for the hard working crew at Enlighten and Guru's and it was also within an hour of their closing. After enjoying a very good dinner I went to the bakery counter to find out what my coupon could redeem? They had a single peanut butter cookie left which had a corner broken off, some sugar cookies, and some gluten-free cookies, one each of chocolate chip, the other was Snickerdoodle. Of all of these the broken peanut butter cookie was the most appealing to me and sugar cookies the least. I also thought to myself I'll take "the damaged one" so they can sell the others. The nice lady grabbed it with tongs and just add she tried to put it in a bag with them the cookie fell to the floor. She was mortified. She asked if I wanted a suggest cookie instead and I explained that would not go over well with my wife who would be sharing it with me. She then offered the two remaining gluten-free cookies, which I accepted. The grace she handled this with is more noteworthy than the cookies. They were good, even two days later when we enjoyed them with decaf enhanced with a little Irish Cream back at home. The bakery also had Sweet Potato Cheesecake which really intrigued me but I didn't have room for after our meal from Guru's and our would not have kept well during our drive back to Cheyenne the next day. While we were still a at the bakery, I "checked in" on YELP and... got another coupon for a "free cookie". The next time were there I'm not going to use it. Instead, I'm going to leave room for desert and try a slice of that Sweet Potato (or some other) cheesecake. 😁 Bon Appétit 😀“

“I was on-campus today doing a photo shoot for an old friend and classmate from BYU and for old times sake, we grabbed a bite at the Cougareat. This place has improved by 500% since the last time I stopped in for a meal...which was in 1996, the year I graduated. It’s great to see all of the franchise offerings along with BYU food services options. I’m not a fast food patron on the outside so I skipped it here also and went straight for a salad but if I was still a student at BYU, I would be stoked to have some comfort food available w/o leaving campus. Nicely done BYU! PS: The plethora of soda offerings with caffeine is the cherry on top. 😁👍🏻“

“I love Menchies, especially the tart with strawberries and raspberries. But of course I must try some other flavors each time -just in case. The tart at this location on this particular night was a little more soft and melty than I’m used to. Probably just an off night for the machine. I’ll come back but based on this one experience I’d rather go to the one in Draper where I have been many times and is always firm. Will that stop me from coming back here if I’m in the area though? No way. Menchies is delicious and I love it. I’ll give one thing to them at their place though - tons of seating at this location! Good thing too. I came during a random rush which was wild.“

“Highly recommend ordering ahead on the app if you are in a hurry! We were at a dance convention and had a limited amount of time to grab food in between dance numbers/awards. “I’ve lived in Utah for 2 years and this has been my favorite pizza place so far! I tried it for the first time today and the slices were HUGE, they gave us ranch for free (so kind!) and normal cups for water because they were out, which is a score for me because I drink a lot of water. The pizza was crispy and the slices were cheap because of Happy Hour! 10/10 recommend and I will be coming back!“

“I go here a lot and the one near BYU where I travel here. Today I decided to write a review because the food is normally good but the service was great. There was a young man at lunch time who went above and beyond I wish I had gotten his name. Overall the quality is getting better. It’s hard I imagine when you have a lot of students working there but they are doing a good job.“
