I am a bit of a food snob. When my daughter was getting married I sampled cakes from 6 or 8 wedding cake bakers in town and was disappointed in all of them. I was about resigned to make her wedding cake myself, until I drove past The Chocolate. I pulled in and sampled one of their cakes. It was exactly what we were looking for. Now our family gets all our cakes from The Chocolate

The Chocolate is a great date night spot! The menu is always changing so you have to keep coming back for more. My personal favorite is the carrot cake! My one issue is the seating. It’s hard to find a private, comfortable spot to sit—especially when it’s busy. We usually get out desserts to go because of this.
