“After I saw a video on Facebook someone had posted trying to unfairly berate this place I wanted to go at least once to try to show support. I am so glad we did! The customer service was very good, the food phenomenal! It cost a little more than our normal Chinese restaurant but we were given enough food for over 2 meals with each combo dinner. We will definitely be back!“

This place is by far the best place for an authentic Mandarin & Cantonese experience! I've been coming here sporadically for years and it's blown me away every time.
The lunch specials are freaking stellar and if you stop by for dinner you won't be disappointed!
They were closed for a little bit but when they reopened the entire store had a facelift and the outside of the building got a new lick of paint.

“My family loves this place and the family that owns the seem to be very nice! I have one picky eater and he loves the General Tso's chicken: I personally change it up each time. The costs is about the same as nearby fast food and you get fresher homemade quality food for similar wait!“

“The food was really good for the price you pay for! At first glance, I thought the restaurant was a bit pricy, however when I received my order, I was blown away by the size and quantity of food we received. I was shocked by how empty the store was.
With the food quality and servings you get for the price, I expected the store to be packed. The service was amazing, I also learned that they are a small family restaurant here for almost 15 years. Definitely try it out.“

“Love Chinese Gourmet! The people there are all so friendly and welcoming, one of the ladies that work there always hooks me up and packs my plate. Lots of options, good food, affordable prices, and they give a lot. I highly recommend the potato chicken!“

“We ordered from here when the regular Chinese store we usually go to was closed. We were pleasantly surprised. The flavors were nice and balanced. It's americanized food, but it has more flavors than other Chinese places. We're going to be coming back to this place. Good bang for the buck.“

“This plate was absolutely FULL of food when I got it. We payed between 13-15 dollars for it, and it was the best Chinese I've had. I'm a bigger guy who eats a lot but I couldn't finish it there was so much. Service was incredible too, the waitresses were incredibly nice, and very quick with service.“

“Food comes out so quick and all the workers are nice and well-mannered. This is the Orange Chicken Alacart and its so delicious, the chicken comes out fresh and hot, and I love that even this big portion of food comes with a side of white rice.“

We always love it here. The service has always been good and all of the staff is friendly. We always enjoy the food. My little man accidentally knocked over his milk glass which broke and the server and staff were very patient when helping clean it up.“

“We don't usually dine in, we always pick up the food. The food is always hot and delicious. The portions you get for the price you pay is amazing! I usually prefer fried rice over noodles... but here I always get the noodles! They are by far the best noodles I've had at any restaurant in Utah. We've tried many places in Utah and always feel let down on the quality of food for the price (even PF changs or Mandarin). But here, I feel the food is always fresh, hot, and the price is great especially for the portions you get. We've mostly tried all the chicken dishes and appetizers. Haven't tried any beef, seafood, or soups.“

“We go here every Christmastime for a big family dinner, and after walk over to the Ogden Christmas Village. It’s been a staple for us the past 10+ years and is consistently good. We always get the Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and finish with a Mango Sticky Rice. Fun, downtown “hole in the wall” Thai!“

“Came in to pick up my yummy dinner tonight and since it wasn’t very busy at the time, the crew was cleaning the kitchen and the windows. I guess I’ve never really noticed before how the place really is always clean. Great job guys and the food was super yummy tonight.“
