“The pies are part of the Capitol Reef experience. You simply must do it. The first day split three pies- apple, cherry and peach among two adults, three kids and a toddler/baby. The apple didn’t quite meet my expectations but I am picky on apple pie. The peach pie 🥧 was outta this world! The next day we bought pies to help the kids hike Cassidy Arch. We got five pies! Peach, two cherries and a wild berry and they were all very good! Don’t let the line deter you. It is worth it. If it’s midday just have one of the adults jump out and get in line while the other parks and plays with the kids.“
