I’ve been to Hit the Roast quite a few times now, and after so many great experiences, I finally felt like I needed to write a review!
Their soups are seriously so good!! you can tell they put care into making them. It’s the perfect pair with the toasted sandwich’s. Everything tastes fresh and the portions are just right for lunch. I’ve tried them multiple times and they never disappoint.

Great place to get a quick bite and a delicious coffee. Service is always fast and friendly.
What a wonderful local spot! Britany (the owner) and the rest of the “Hit The Roast Cafe” staff really make you feel at home. I enjoyed the avocado toast (caprese style) & a cold brew with oat milk. The live music from Chris Kingsley added to the relaxing & fun vibe. Also, there’s local art that’s available for purchase. I fell in love with multiple works of art from Kelley Richens which Brittany covered in bubble wrap for my travels back to the east coast....read full review

Hit The Roast Cafe is a must stop for locals and travelers passing through Vernal. The atmosphere is comfy, fun, and awesome, with gorgeous art works on the walls from local artists, books in the back, and even live music. The shop is huge, with a ton of space to work or gather in the backroom. The coffee is exceptional; the cold brew is hands down the best, and the Mocha and Iced Matcha with strawberry foam are highly recommended. Specific meals like the Highway 191, Highway to Heck, breakfast sandwich, breakfast bagel with cream cheese, and biscuits and gravy are all delicious, with the gravy being a personal favorite. The service is wonderful, with friendly staff checking in without being annoying.
