“This is a fun little shop serving Brazilian pizzas. We loved the few that we tried. They were really fresh and the crust was light and fluffy. “This is a shameless plug for their smoothies… listen I know it’s like $11 for a drink, but have you tried it?? I’m hooked on the cocoa mint smoothie and knowing I’m putting a high protein, no sugar added, blend of real ingredients into my body that tastes like a DELICIOUS sweet treat, makes the price tag worth it to me. “Fat Daddy's is a cool spot in Downtown Provo! I am pretty sure there was only one server. Maybe two, but it was not overly staffed, that's for sure. She greeted us after a few minutes up at the front and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. For starters, we got the toasted ravioli. This may have been my favorite part of the whole dinner. These were stuffed with cheese and tasted so amazing. They came with marinara but we also got some ranch to pair the ravioli with. We decided to get some kind of dinner special that was being advertised on the tables. This came with salad, unlimited garlic knots, and a pizza of our choice. We had the choice of a caesar salad or a garden salad. Luckily, I am hanging around the right people and we all agreed the caesar salad would be the best choice. The garlic knots came out quickly and were extremely hot. They paired so well with the ranch on the side. The salad came out shortly after that and it was perfect for the 6 of us. The pizza came out a while later and we opted for the four horseman, which came with pepperoni, sausage, banana peppers, jalapenos, hot cherry peppers, crushed red pepper, honey chipotle drizzle. It tasted pretty good but it definitely had a kick to it. There was one issue with our visit; the water tasted so bad. We all gagged when we drank it. We go to restaurants together every single week and this was a first for us. I am not sure if it is a moldy ice machine or just the pipes, but we are thinking it is the ice. Regardless, it was literally not drinkable. Having a meal like this without a single swig of water was a bit rough. Everything else was awesome and I feel like we got a lot of value with our meal. The music was interesting and it was kind of funny that they were playing Teletubbies on one of the TVs. There's plenty of seating in here and the overall building has a lot of charm. We'd definitely go back but I really hope the water was a one-off situation.“

“Best pizza, by far, in the state! Probably like everyone else, my family has tried pretty much every pizza joint around. One Saturday, we decided to try this one and we were shocked at how delicious it is! I believe we had pepperoni, cheese and a combination of some sort as far as pizza then we got a couple breads as sides—all were fantastic. Highly recommend!!“

“I always love trying somewhere new. This hole in the wall sub shop was great! We got two toasted subs (great bread, good fillings) and a giant cinnamon roll to take home to the kids. The roll was soft, yummy and worth every penny. The subs were great, though I think I would next time order extra meat because it felt a little weak on filling. The flavor though was great!“

“This place gets a solid 4 from Jerry. The service was great, workers were kind, prices were fair, and the food was good. We got the firebird pizza and it was very good. Good flavor and the firebird ranch was a hit. Only things that could have made it better is more sauce on the pizza and a couple minutes extra in the oven to make the undercarriage a little crispier. In my opinion they make the best margarita pizza--I am always comparing other margarita pizzas to theirs and I am yet to find one I like as well as this one (and I've been searching for 9 years). The staff were extremely kind and accommodating (we had a gluten-free person in our group, and they went out of their way to make sure the food she ordered was okay for her). The all-you-can-eat option had tons of options; the staff even kept telling us when they were going to bring new pizza so we could get fresh slices. Every pizza we got had plenty of toppings. The taste of the pizza is absolutely second to none (we personally loved the Tourist pizza best of all). The pizzas here are definitely on the pricy side, but if we wanted cheap pizza, we would have gone somewhere else; we came here for gourmet pizza, and boy did we get it! “The breadsticks didn’t have hardly any of the toppings or butter on them but they were still warm and tasted great. The toppings of the pizza didn’t really get cooked at all because they were covered with cheese but the chocolate cake was DEVINE! Lynsie was our waitress and she was AMAZING! “Let it be known, I'm a pretty grumpy person. I try not to be an absolute jerk, but... I'm a grumpy old man... I just had had a negative experience at another restaurant, and I just wanted some meatballs without going through a lot of bullcrap to get it. I called up this store to see if they could make me a tray of meatballs without the sauce, and I guess I talked to the owner. (I'm a complete knob and didn't get his name >.<) the owner was quite concerned and caring about my previous experience, listened with empathy and told me they could absolutely make the meal to my specifications. When I got there he was gracious and courteous, as was his staff. They seem like good people, cause when you can be nice to a dude having a bad day, and turn his day around, even when that dude is not the most pleasant... I think that place deserves the business. I don't fault the other place, Everyone has a bad day (I mean... I was having one right?) but I DO praise this one. “I have been a customer here since I moved to Springville, three years ago. I bring my little grandkiddos. It's been a great place for us. We all love the pizza (in fact, I can't eat any other pizza because I've been spoiled by the yummy sourdough pizza). I also like the super casual atmopshere, especially with the grandkids. They got so good at air hockey and car racing! The new management took out the hockey table, but they still have the car race game. Certainly, a lot cleaner now : )“

“Pier 49 is decent. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. The restaurant interior and decor is outdated and a little rundown. The menu is plastered over the wall in a huge format - like a giant poster. The service was decent. We got the nob hill and chicken bacon ranch. We started with the house salad which was fresh and tasty. The cheesesticks were alright. They needed more cheese and I think if they added some garlic powder and oregano, it would bring them up a notch and create better flavor. I also wish the dipping sauce (marinara), was hot and not cold from the fridge. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was by far superior over the nob hill pizza. There was more flavor and it just tasted better. The nob hill was lacking flavor and also needed garlic or something to make it better. Both pizzas were covered in tomato. I wish they cooked the tomato instead of throwing on too much raw tomatoes. I would come back maybe once a year but there are better options for pizza around.“
