We hosted our wedding at High West in early June and it was an incredible experience. Lou helped us plan and coordinate on site. Lou is professional, fun, detailed oriented, and so easy to work with. Lou and her team were so dialed the entire day-from the set up, the timing of the food and cocktails, and the flow-it was perfect. Forever grateful to Lou, the Chef, Venessa, and the rest of the High West team for a perfect day!

The food was great and reasonably priced. The Elk Ruben, smoked turkey sandwich and fries were great. The smoked turkey has a sweet sauce was too sweet for me, but my wife liked it. Some staff could use a little hospitality training, but good overall. Highly recommend.

High West Distillery is a beautiful place that attracts both tourists and locals. The tour is engaging and well-paced, offering a glimpse into Utah's history with care, detail, and fascinating insights. Visitors can enjoy a flight of Whiskey and a Love and Theft cocktail, both highly praised for their quality. The meals are spectacular, including the Duck Pot Pie, and the cocktails are top-notch. The distillery itself is gorgeous, with guests often mentioning the stunning mountain views outside, which create an unforgettable experience when enjoying whiskey. The tasting room and barrel room are highlights, providing a fun experience, especially when sampling higher-end whiskey like the 2025 dram and Bourye whiskey, which are noted for being fabulous and very smooth. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with quick, friendly, and attentive service that enhances the visit. Guests have also appreciated the nice gift shop and the incredible view of the mountains through all of the windows. Visitors are advised to leave extra time before their tour since parking is at the bottom and a shuttle takes guests up to the distillery. Overall, it’s an amazing place to visit, especially for those interested in history, chemistry, or just enjoying great whiskey and food.
