“I almost took it as vacant, good thing I stopped in to this hidden gem!The service was fast, and the pupusas were about 6" in diameter. Way more food than I expected. So good. The place was so inviting and I found myself dancing in my chair to the music.I love it.I want to come back to explore the menuVegetarian options: Loroco Y Queso pupusas are made with a flowering vine vegetable and cheese. It's tasty. Calabeza y Queso is a squash and cheese option. They also have Yucca on the menu. That's just to start. I am sure you can find a good vegetarian option“
“This Oxaqueno restaurant is really good. We tried their popusas, and they were good. I tried the grasshopper popusas, and it was weird. I did not find any flavor, but I just wanted to give it a try. The empanadas de leches are good; the horchata oaxaqueña and atole de elote are good. The place looks clean from the inside, and the customer service is great.“
“Visited for brunch. Never had Salvadorian food, so this was the first time. A little bit different experience than I'm used to in Salt Lake City. Not as friendly, but that may be a cultural thing. Also Spanish appeared to be the primary language, and my wife and I were only primary English speaker there.“
“This place was a wonderful surprise! I popped in randomly and ordered a papusa and a combo plate and they did NOT disappoint. The food was VERY inexpensive and VERY good! My BF is 6'5, a big boy, he eats a lot. All we ordered was ONE combo plate and ONE papusa and not only did that fill us both up but we did Not finish our food and had lots leftover :)I brought the left overs home, fried some tortillas and threw all the leftovers in some tortillas and we had dinner for the night, and it was just as good the second time :) This place is a total gem, I had a good feeling as soon as I walked in and saw all the ladies whisking and working away on the food. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be going back :) Great job ladies!!“
“I came down to salt lake a couple days ago and I was getting pretty hungry and I drove past this food truck and saw that it was Salvadorian food. So I stopped by and ordered some of their pupusas and man they were hot and delicious. The taste was immaculate and I loved how much cheaper the food was there compared to other local spots I’ve tried. I saw that someone had said that the pupusas were pure dough ? but thats not the case they were full of chicharron and every bite was worth it! 10/10 Love yall! ❤️“
“We went on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. There was live music and singing which was great. We were seated right away and the waitress was very friendly. The food was also excellent and good portion sizes for what you get. The pupusas are delicious and so are the chicharrones with fried yucca. Can't wait to go back.“
