“Brew Birds is an amazing local cafe with fresh and delicious food, great coffee and a rotating selection of beers/ ciders. The staff are very friendly. I don't eat out during the week (only home cooked), so a Brew Birds breakfast burrito is usually the go to treat. I can personally recommend the Roast Beast, the Turkey BLT, the breakfast burrito, and the basic B. This place is my favorite part of the neighborhood!”

“I come here as often as I'm passing by. Best to order ahead to avoid a wait, especially during lunch times. It helps to be able to speak Spanish, more so if you order ahead.I'm all about the burrito del asada. The steak inside the burrito keeps with a crispy outer crunch even when everyone else in there should make it soggy. I do see what everyone else is getting and it also looks delicious.Bang for your buck, this is where it's at. Only downside, if anything, is there are only two picnic tables and all outdoor. However, if you're looking for a place to eat on a rainy day, come here anyway and find somewhere else to eat it.

Parking: Lunch time is crowded but you can park at the gas station nextdoor while you wait.”

“I was initially hesitant to try this place due to the mixed reviews. However, after noticing the crowd outside a few times, we finally decided to give it a shot. We ordered their seasonal ones - campfire s’mores and blueberry cobbler, and both were excellent. The campfire s’mores was a delightful blend of rich flavours. I’m definitely tempted to return and explore more of their flavors.”

My wife and I finally made it to MELT in Leesburg after hearing great things, and let me just say… shame on us for waiting so long. Debbie, the owner (and now part-time head-bopper), greeted us like we were long-lost cousins showing up late to the family BBQ. When I told her it was our first visit, she gave me a playful bop on the head with our table number and asked, “What took you so long?” Touché, Debbie. Touché. Now onto the burgers… and yes, they deserve their own paragraph. I ordered the A Jazzed Up Swiss Burger — and let me tell you, this was no run-of-the-mill meat puck. We're talking Gruyère so rich it probably pays taxes in Switzerland, Black Forest ham that must’ve taken a first-class flight in, baby bella mushrooms sautéed to perfection, and a tangy smear of whole-grain mustard tying it all together. Every bite said, “Sir, this is not fast food — this is fine dining between buns.” My wife had the Paris Burger — imagine garlic-kissed beef topped with brie so creamy it probably auditioned for a romance film, with balsamic onions adding the drama. Let’s just say she stopped talking mid-bite. That’s how you know it’s good. The vibe? Casual but classy, with staff who treat you like family (the good side of the family, not the ones who borrow your tools and never bring them back). And yes… in a moment of grilled beef-fueled euphoria, I may have proclaimed myself the Burger King. Debbie gave me a look. I instantly realized my mistake. This isn’t that kind of burger joint. This is a burger experience. Saying "Burger King" here is like bringing boxed wine to a French vineyard. Long story short — go to MELT. Go now. Go often. And when Debbie bops you on the head, just smile… because that means you're officially part of the MELT kingdom. 👑🍔”

“I was there last. night (Thursday) and the Octopus was delightful as was my 'ordinary' salmon plate with their delicious veggies....The home sparking pink wine served in an unusual goblet was ample and perfect (a substitute for the more expensive Brut when they didn't have theirs cooled._ The alternative was just as good. I'm no connoisseur but I know a good meal when I'm finished. Food ample and the less expensive dishes looked just as appetizing as the more expensive ones. I want to try almost everything once....”

“Oh red fox inn. I really do like this place! I have stayed here many times and a few things they could improve upon, but will focus on one:

- the breakfast! It’s is tasteless. No condiments come with a sandwich that you’d think would be delicious but has no flavor. Fat free yogurt for the parfait. Before covid, they would do breakfast for guests for free in a nice sit down fashion. Can we bring that back? Or, if not, re-do breakfast program with new items. This sandwich has been the mainstay for years. Give salt & pepper too please, ketchup & mayo? We also got the “casserole” (I’m not sure if I’d call it that). It was just okay. Again, some new options and some condiments with delivery if they are going to stick with that.”
