Ada's on the River Reviews
My husband and I have frequented Ada’s on many occasions to celebrate birthdays and different events. Last night may be the last time that we visit. Ada's on the River is a restaurant located on the waterfront, celebrated for its delicious food, beautiful views, and attentive staff. Guests enjoy the riverside breeze and charming garden ambiance, making it a lovely spot for dining. The menu features a range of tasty options, including the recommended Brussels sprouts, crab cake, kids shrimp, and the cowboy ribeye, which has received positive feedback. The crab cake stands out, especially when paired with leeks, while the steak salad and mahimahi sandwich remain popular choices. The beignets continue to be a delightful option for dessert. Although there is no valet parking and nearby lots can be pricey, the atmosphere and food make the experience worthwhile. Guests have noted warm and gracious service, with staff members showing kindness and professionalism. Larger parties may find seating a bit cramped, and the dining room can become loud, making conversation a challenge. Overall, Ada's on the River is an excellent choice for a celebratory meal or a nice night out, especially for seafood lovers looking to enjoy views of the Potomac. However, guests should be aware that it is an expensive place, and parking may require some effort.
