Ada’s is an amazing spot on the water. Recommendation is to sit outside if the weather permits. Service was amazing! Drinks were delicious. And the location is great for people watching! I would definitely go back on a Monday when they honor their martini flight for happy hour (don’t go on a federal holiday—they don’t offer it…).

Visiting DC but stayed in Old Town. Read many great things about Ada's on the River and decided to have dinner there. Their black bricohe with orange butter is a must-have, absolutely great to start dinner with! Lots of great menu options ultimately went with smoked swordfish and their steaks based on the recommendations of our lovely server, Elizabeth, who highlighted food specialities that were cooked using their wood burning oven and side dishes that compliment them....

We had an incredible experience at Ada’s on the River, and a huge part of that was our server, Amir. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great recommendations without ever making us feel pressured and kept the entire dinner paced perfectly. The food was delicious!!
