Akeno is always a great experience, whether in-restaurant or carry-out. Fresh sushi, always delicious!

Came in with my friends for the lunch specials and it was great, the fish was fresh and everything was beautifully plated. My drinks stayed full and service was quick and quite friendly. My favorite dish was the takoyaki and the salmon nigiri. Great little place and gorgeous

I enjoy the food, the coziness and the service. Most importantly is they quite flexible to fulfill customers’ request/preferences on menu.

This place is the cutest. If you're looking for good food, beautiful decor, and relaxed vibes, you will love this place. The place has outside seating, and the servers were very attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely go again.

I wish I tried this place earlier, best Japanese options, and taste i have ever tasted. So fresh and delicious. My wife and I came here one time. Now we come 2 times a week. Take my advice and enjoy a happy belly full of fresh food.

Overpriced and overrated sushi .

The service was awful! I asked for sauce they asked for .50c !! They were not attending the table if we needed anything- we needed water refill. The lady was like you have to wait . The food was spicy. We were 1 adult and three kids . They added 20% service charge on the bill! It is not that I was planning not to tip the lady !! The service was definitely rude !

This is my favorite sushi place in Alexandria. They have a wide selection of Asian dishes and they are all very good. Drinks are also amazing. My favorites are the mocktails.

The whole experience and food was wonderful. The staff were attentive but not over bearing. The food is a mixed selection of Thai and Japanese. The sushi quality and taste was good. The cocktails were tasty and looks great.

I ordered door dash so I can’t say about the service or atmosphere but the pad Thai and different sushi rolls we ordered were delicious.

Excellent food, just outstanding. Nice place, not too far from the Metro. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Just fantastic.
