Love the throwback tunes playing and the relaxing atmosphere of this pizza joint.The pizza has always been consistently GIANT and delicious! Love the monthly rotating toppings as well as the garlic mushroom (with hot honey).Definitely give this spot a try if you want an Instagram worthy slice!
Want to like this place. So much so that I've gone back, 3 times hoping to feel different. Service and atmosphere is fine, the pizza? The most mediocre blah pizza I've had in a while. Not disgusting by any means, just flavorless.... the sauce, the dough, it all falls flat. Live around the block, thought it would be a go to, disappointing :(

The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, setting the perfect mood for a delightful meal. As for the food, it's simply outstanding. Each bite of the pizza was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The crust was perfectly crisp, and the toppings were generous. I was in Alexandria for a meeting and dropped by Benny’s. I’d heard about the 28 inch pies and curious to give it a try. I ordered a cheese pizza and also a slice of the garlic mushroom. The crust is different, it kinda reminds me of Round Table pizza if you’ve ever had one of those. Pretty good stuff, like it a lot. ???

I’d been to the Benny’s in Richmond before so I was excited to see them open in Del Ray. Big foldable slices with a crispy enough crust so it’s got a good bite to it. Sauce was fresh and bright and not sickly sweet. About the worst I could say is that it needed to be reheated in the oven a little longer, but next time I’ll order it well done. Excellent selection of bottled sodas, including my favorite RC. Highly recommended for a quick meal, and way less crowded than Andy’s in Old Town.
