Large menu with many choices. The short rib pasta was excellent, although I wish they had cut the meat into smaller pieces, I don't expect to have to cut it myself when it's a pasta dish. Same with the shrimp pasta my husband had, our pet peeve is having to try to take the tail shells off either with a knife (very awkward and you often miss much of the meat) or by eating it with your hands, when the shrimp is a) hot and b) covered with sauce. My wife and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary at Blackwall Hitch, and we had a wonderful experience! ❤️ The meal selection was great, and we were especially happy to see that they added cooked salmon to the menu. Everything was delicious, and our server was absolutely outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional. We highly recommend Blackwall Hitch for a special occasion or a great night out. We went for Sunday brunch. There are a lot of options, so there is something for everyone. The jazz band was enjoyable. My coffee was not very hot and by the time I reached my table, the prime rib was cold. They leave shucked oysters out on ice for people to take, and this doesn't seem very food safe. The food was just okay. Our server was attentive. I would return to this restaurant, but most likely not for brunch.
