Whether you're outdoors when it is 95 degrees in the shade or it is a Spring day worthy of a long walk, Casa Rosada always has a gelato flavor on the menu that will make you smile. My favorite reasons for stopping in are (1) the ever present welcoming smiles of the family members who own this cozy place, and (2) the creative, gelato flavors that rotate on the menu. I always order a large gelato with two scoops: one scoop that is always on the menu paired with one scoop...
Oh, how I love this little place. It is my go-to gelato in Old Town. I just wish they were open during the winter months! I am obsessed with the PBJ/banana, and my husband swears by the pistachio. I'm sure every single flavor is delicious. The service is always lovely, too. Definitely a must-try if you want something sweet and are in the area!
