I had the pistachio and chocolate hazelnut gelati. Both were amazing, with great, authentically nutty profiles, but the pistachio was my favorite. Hope to come again sometime! :)
Stopped into Dolci Gelati in Old Town Alexandria and immediately ran into the classic problem: “I’ll just try a little something.” Famous last words.
Went with the Biscoff and pistachio gelato. Both were excellent, but the Biscoff is clearly the crowd favorite—I even asked the staff what people usually order, and they didn’t hesitate. So of course I did the responsible thing and ordered it… and then almost didn’t share it. Normally I’d pace myself....

Cute shop! I love gelato, but their dark chocolate flavor was a bit too sugary sweet for me. The texture was lovely. Wish there was a “piccolo,” or smaller size on offer than their small!
