In my opinion this is the best Afghan food in the DMV. The buffet is excellent as are the a la carte items. Everything is very fresh and flavorful and they have a ton of sauces and garnishes to make everything as spicy as you want it to be. Casual atmosphere which is great for sitting and eating or grabbing your food to go. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, as are all the customers I've interacted with while there.

I had a wonderful experience at Kabul Kabob Express in Alexandria, VA. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish I tried was full of flavor and tasted really well. The meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the rice was fluffy, and the naan was warm and fresh. You can really taste the quality and care in their cooking.
The staff were very respectful and kind. They made me feel welcome and were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. The service was quick, and everything was served hot and fresh.
The portions were generous — more than enough for one person — and the prices are very reasonable for what you get.
If you’re looking for tasty Afghan food and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Kabul Kabob Express. I will definitely be coming back again soon!
