Nope. Ordered the duck confit, all I tasted was salt. A huge $32 disappointment.

La Fromagerie is such a unique place in Alexandria!! If you want to feel like you’re in France you must visit this place. Everything is served so fresh and their sommelier helps you pair wine as well. I enjoy thei appetizers (foie gras is 100% recommended to try), their lamb dish is amazing and they always have seasonal assorted desserts.

Taste buds delight! Will be back.

Great selection of wine and food was yum but the portions sizes were very small considering the price. We had a nice time but I just didn’t think it was great value for money.

A neighborhood gem with the most diverse wine list in town. Highly recommend if you’re new to the area: sit at the bar & become friends with the crew. Also, if there are mushrooms on the menu: order them!

From start to finish, it was a superb experience. Delicious and unique wines, a simple yet appetizing charcuterie and excellent service. Will return!

This was a really great experience. We sampled 10 wines between the two of us and they were all fantastic. We had 4 appetizer dishes and those were all fantastic too. Highly recommend!

Absolutely divine charcuterie. The perfect spot for a girl date. The wagyu beef is a must! The bread & olive oil is also so simple but somehow uniquely delicious. This spot is also in a great spot of Old Town. Stop in for a glass of wine and snack while you’re shopping and walking!

Love this place for the (seasonal) menu, great wine and great service. They always make personal recommendations based on what they know you like… and it’s always a hit! It’s great for a date night, girls night out, of if you want to dine alone with a book and great cuisine - I’ve done it all here. 👌🏼

I love that they have a seasonal menu and the food is always flavorful and cooked very well. The cheeses are delicious and I’m learning about wine through their recommendations.

The staff here are knowledgable of all they serve, and can even tell you about the cows who made the cheese! Great food and service, wonderful atmosphere!

Atmosphere was good. Service and food was not. In town on a business trip and only stepped in because it was open at 845. Impressed that they had wagyu as a charcuterie option, I chose a 5 option meat/cheese. The "wagyu" was an extremely tough summer sausage. My board definitely did not look like the one in the review below. I didn't even get a bread option without the accoutrement broken crackers...
I spent 75$ on a 4oz pour of basic wine and a meat and cheese board that was not worth $10.
I asked for my check and a to go box just to get out of there. I wouldn't go back.

Great wine and the best wait staff has excellent recommendations. We didn’t love the Atlantis cheese which was very seaweedy but the plum chutney with the charcuterie board more than made up for it!

I cannot explain how much this restaurant made me want to move here. We weren’t closer to closing time on a Thursday, but even with an hour and a half there was still plenty of space still available. The waitress was very knowledgeable about all of the wines and was helpful with recommendations. The charcuterie alone is worth the visit, but definitely get a few appetizers to share, because they’re all so good.
