I used to frequent this cafe quite a lot over the 20 years I lived in Alexandria. It’s changed drastically. The charm of the French country decor has been replaced by a sterile cafeteria type style. While previously there was warm soft lighting, how it is harsh and cold. All the wood had been striped out and replaced by mostly non-natural materials. What used to be a buffet-style service and too a few minutes to move through the line and pick up all the ala carts items...

Sara was absolutely amazing! She was extremely sweet, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. The food was AMAZING and you can truly tell that everything was made with care. Sara’s customer service was the cherry on top. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend!

The same good food I remember. I had the tomato basil soup, of course. Sandwich was delicious and the bread was the star. Followed it all up with a delicious little creme brulee dessert.
