Matt & Tony's is my favorite brunch spot. I come here at least once a month and the food and customer service never disappoints.

Overall experience was great. Other than it taking longer than expected to get two straws for our drinks it was awesome.

A wonderful Halloween inspired luau with all of the trimmings! Great food and great service from Ari!

Service was very efficient, may too much so but accurate so that's ok. Hadn't been here in a while so was pleasantly surprised at the array of dishes and how nice they were. Will definitely go back.

I recently had brunch at Matt and Tony's for the first time. Up until the very end, everything was wonderful – the food was fantastic, and our server was friendly and attentive. My friend and I were thoroughly enjoying brunch and were genuinely excited about the overall experience. However, towards the end of our meal, when we were about to leave, we were told in a somewhat cold manner that we were past our reservation time limit. We completely understand the importance of managing seating times, but we were surprised to learn that there was a time cutoff, as this was not communicated to us earlier. While we appreciate the need for such policies and missed it when making the reservation online, it would have been helpful if this had been mentioned when we were first seated or during our initial interaction with the server, as we had never been to this restaurant before. A cut off time was never mentioned. This would have set clear expectations and not have been so off putting, when it was said the in the tone it was said to us. Additionally, we were seated 30 minutes past our original reservation time, and while we understood the delay, it felt somewhat disjointed when we were given the impression that we were taking up space even though the restaurant wasn't at full capacity by the time we were asked to leave and were right at an hour and a half (the cut off time). A more customer-friendly approach to handling the situation would have made a big difference in how we felt about the experience as a whole.

Excellent customer service by all staff here. The French toast and chicken is by far one of my favorite brunch items in the area. It's cooked perfectly and the mix of textures just leaves me so satisfied.

What an interesting menu and good service, we were able to eat outdoors and thank you very much to the hostesses who seated me and my elderly mom and friend very quickly given our circumstances! Wonderful staff and delicious food. The indoors is a bit noisy so we were very grateful to have outdoor seating on the patio. We will definitely return and thank you again to all the kind people who hosted us today! 

We met up to show support to each other as we are all grieving the loss of our mothers. This was a great experience. The atmosphere, the food and service were all just what was needed to keep our spirits lifted. Thank you. We will be back again 🥰

First time here, and I absolutely LOVED it! Got the French toast with chicken- and it was the BEST French toast I've ever had. Definitely will be coming back since I'm adding it to my list of brunch spots in the DMV. The only downside was that it was very crowded, like bumping elbows with other diners- and the parking situation sucks.

The restaurant was busy, we had a reservation got seated immediately with great service and absolutely delicious food.

I've visited Matt & Tony's several times. The food and drinks are delicious (and well priced), the staff are kind and efficient, and the space is clean/tidy. Typically pretty easy to find parking and is quiet enough to enjoy conversation with tablemates.

We enjoy excellent food (braised beef sandwich, salmon toast, scotch eggs) and delightful cocktails at a perfect outdoor table for 2 on a busy Sunday morning at 9:45. I would have given a perfect score, but our service was sadly subpar and rather inattentive. She asked what beverages we'd like to start with and we asked for coffee. 12 minutes later, she came back asking for our food orders with no coffee. We politely asked if we could have the coffee we ordered, and she replied that it takes eight minutes to brew, but we ordered it 15 minutes beforehand. Our entrees and appetizer did arrive promptly and were delicious. Our coffee & water was only refilled once. The cocktails (raspberry buckle; Boomslang Boomerang, which was amazing) were served quickly. After waiting quite a while, the waitress showed me the check on a device, I paid in cash, & was never given a receipt. I gave her a 20% tip after receiving change, which she grabbed and promptly turned to the next table. I purposely made earlier reservations. It was clearly a busy day for our waitress and she seemed to have too many tables to manage. After paying over $100 for two people, I was just hoping for a more attentive experience. The food and cocktails were worth it though.

I always enjoy dining at Matt & Tony's, but I HIGHLY DISLIKE how they replaced the seafood dip with the MD crab dip boat. BRING THE SEAFOOD DIP BACK! The crab dip boat is too bready and cheesy. Further, the cheese overpowers the taste of the seafood. Thumbs down.

We went for their brunch. Food was good but a little on the salty side. The atmosphere is moody and modern. It's a little noisy inside but it was very busy and popular! I would go back to try their dinner.
