This was my very first visit to McAlister’s Deli in Alexandria, and I was genuinely impressed from the moment I walked in. The restaurant was spotless, and it even smelled clean — something you don’t always experience in a busy deli.
The staff was outstanding. I was greeted immediately upon entering, and the cashier quickly picked up that it was my first time because I was taking my time looking over their very large menu. She didn’t rush me at all....
