The fact that they’ve been around since 1991 and roast everything in-house already tells you a lot. I was just passing through Alexandria for work with my K9 scent detection dogs, needed a coffee, and ended up at Misha’s Coffeehouse. Right by the riverfront this café can get busy but is often a quiet place to grab a good cup of coffee. There is an additional upstairs room and a roof deck.

Watching the sunrise with Misha’s coffee has become one of the highlights of my day. The coffee is delicious, the people are friendly, and the pastries are excellent.
It is hard to ask for much more than a great cup of coffee, a beautiful sunrise, and good people.
