Really promising place. Chef is inventive and has tons of potential. Staff is excellent. Some dishes were outstanding (octopus tostada, sweet plantain empanadad, bistec e.) While others were works-in-progressing. Cocktails were lackluster.
Loved this place and looking forward to coming back when the seasonal speakeasy opens. The food was delicious - the chef did some thangs honey with that octopus! The drinks were made by their mixologist and it shows that he knows what he is doing!! Next time I go I’ll take pics. Our server was Rodney I believe and he was excellent. I am gluten free and pescatarian and ate quite well.
This place has a good concept. the service is really good although it's a little awkward because you get there and there is no host stand. It's an extremely small restaurant so I would encourage reservations. I would recommend the tostadas, but the entrees were average, not worth the price. I would not bother with the dessert at all, I ordered the tres leches, it was a complete disappointment, it was basically a dry muffin with some cream and a lot of coconut crumble...
