The Addis Teff is delicious. Good flavor and pairs well with food. Was really good with the smoked sweet swiss cheese from the Fresh Mkt. I first tried one in a choose your own 6 pack and was hooked. The lager was good, but this is my favorite. I tried it because I'd never heard of beer made from Teff, and I like trying new things. I wish Fresh Mkt had the honey one as well. I have bought the Addis Teff a few times now. Someday I want to visit the brewery!
My wife and I sat on the patio and enjoyed our very first taste of Ethiopian honey wine. She had semi-sweet and I had semi-dry (we tasted some of each other’s). and neither of us were disappointed. We loved the wine and the Ethiopian sambusas (similar to samosas) we ordered as well. The service was also top-notch, as our server Tsion was very nice. We will definitely return and may buy a bottle of wine to take home!
We enjoyed the wine, especially the honey wine, the charcuterie board, the friendly service, the beautiful paintings and the casual vibe. We’ll be back!
