I made a reservation well over a month in advance, but we were put upstairs in the number nine lounge for overflow on Easter day brunch. I did not like the ambience or the service up there.
One of the best meals I've had in Alexandria, if not the best. Pimento cheese is phenomenal, the country fried steak was even better. Brought my parents who eat at high-end restaurants around the country frequently and they were blown away by the food. Server was very knowledgeable and kind. 11 out of 10
The food was delicious! Bar service was extremely slow but waiter was attentive. The biggest fault is how loud it is in the dining room. I could barely hear my friend who was sitting across from me. Also, we went for restaurant week which is a great deal, but the price of drinks was exorbitant. Guess they made up their money this way.
