Our waitress Alexandria made our night, she was so attentive and caring (we celebrated two birthdays and she took nice pictures of us and gave us candles with our desserts). The food was on point as well, we ordered scallops on risotto and 16oz prime rib, cooked to perfection. :)

This was our second time visiting. The first was two years ago. I'm pleased to say I would give 5 stars then, and 5 stars now. The service was great from the time we entered until we walked out. I can't remember the drink I had but was a "spirit free" option. I was nervous because it had cinnamon, but was perfectly refreshing. My husband had the optimal wit beer. We had the Pork belly for our appetizer that was nothing short of delicious. We both had steak, he had a ribeye and I had the filet. Perfectly cooked and worth the price. We were too full for dessert this time but will be back and save room!

Gisela was great, could have asked about another glass of wine before I was almost finished with my steak although she did ask then. Food was good, but not as great as it was the first couple of times we were there; seems like the prime steak was only choice plus. The menu could be a bit more diversified, perhaps a soup or some smaller, less expensive appetizers. If you offer a beet salad, it should be 75%+ beets, not just filler lettuce with six beet slices. The wedge salad should be a true wedge including lots of blue cheese and bacon, eliminate the extraneous additions.
We regularly visit Oak and are never disappointed. Stopped by for my wife's birthday dinner last night, and had a great time. Our server, Gisella, was fantastic and Todd made sure everything was perfect.
The service was awesome! The food was over priced and needed seasoning. I was very surprised that it was bland. I had a blue cheese crusted rib eye. Another had the steak frittes. His portion was literally 4 bites of steak. The mushrooms weren't cooked enough. The blue cheese wedge salad was great. The mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and French fries had no taste. The apple and cherry cobbler was fantastic. A bit noisy in there but that was expected.

As always we have an excellent experience at Oak Steakhouse one of our favorite restaurants and we always feel we get amazing VIP treatment as we often dine there. Last night our waiter was excellent, food superb and staff equally attentive and we will always enjoy our visits.
We were celebrating my husband becoming a US citizen, and Oak's staff went above and beyond to make it a special evening for him! Our server, Mike, was fantastic! Friendly and knowledgeable, he recommended some wonderful things from the menu. We had the BEST meal and highly recommend Oak Steakhouse for dinner, especially if it's a special occasion!

Enjoyed my date night. I had a Cabernet and my boyfriend enjoyed the more craft selection of beer offerings. I paired my filet with the chimichurri sauce, but my boyfriend did not choose a sauce pairing and still thought the meat was flavorful. My server Paris was super knowledgeable about the menu. She guided us through the whole experience and was super attentive in a non overwhelming way. I had a spice road cocktail that had an infused chai bourbon that I enjoyed. It seems like they take the time to source high quality ingredients for their food and drinks.

Oak Steakhouse was phenomenal and I highly recommend it for any occasion! Our waitress Gisela was so kind, attentive, and helped make our anniversary feel super special. The food was delicious and well worth the price and the atmosphere was ideal for our romantic night out.Dietary restrictions: The staff made sure to know allergies and were extra careful to avoid any cross contamination.
The people are amazing, but sadly that is the end of the superlatives. My wife ordered the scallops, which were wildly disappointing. The risotto base was fine, and the scallops were okay, but three 10/12 scallops for $42? Not U8 or U10, or even U12, but three (3!!!!) appetizer sized 10/12 as an entree for $42? Pathetic. And then there was my steak. Ordered medium rare, but got well done. Sent it back and waited 15-minutes only to get very, very rare. As in chase it around the restaurant rare. Gross.Made the best of it because my wife was just watching me after finishing her joke of an entree version of a scallop dinner. Two cocktails, and two glasses of wine - with 20% tip, $250.Goes to show that DC restaurants that do a tourist business can survive despite failing at the basics.

IMO, the best steakhouse in Alexandria. The steaks are cooked to perfection. The cocktails are fresh, the wine list stellar. Even if you don't eat meat, try the ceviche. It's so fresh. The happy hour menu rocks.

I'm surprised they don't have a larger steak selection like a Bone-in ribeye or tomahawk.
