It was our first time dining at Oak Steakhouse and it will definitely not be our last. The restaurant is beautiful and cozy!! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. There was plenty of street parking. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and she was very pleased and happy about her birthday dinner. We started with raw oysters, they were delicious. Awesomeness from the moment we walked in greeted with a smile Mike was attentive giving all specials Todd Hunt is fabulous very knowledgeable and friendly polite and very proud of the Oak Steakhouse! Don't usually do pork the porkchop was amazing juicy tender flavorful . Moctail was delicious made with pomegranate! Thank you for the great service always!
We dined at Oak Steakhouse in Alexandria for our 19th wedding anniversary and left disappointed. We noted the occasion when booking, but there was no acknowledgment from staff. Service was underwhelming—our server struggled to answer basic gluten-related questions and couldn't offer a cocktail recommendation when asked for something similar to a Cosmopolitan. Overall, the lack of attentiveness and knowledge made what should have been a special evening feel forgettable.
