Not a salad guy but their “sampler” salad is worth a half hour drive, tart, delicious. A hole in the wall joint, with few tables/seats. Old school place. I’d see people from Pentagon lined up to at noon to get that salad. Authetic Greek owners.

The Old Town Deli is one of my favorite hole-in-the-walls to visit for lunch. If you’re a foodie, You’ve probably heard of the Stinky Salad in Old town, and this is the place to get it. It’s technically called the Sampler Salad, and it’s really simple” chopped romaine lettuce, green pepper, onions and pita chips, and you can add grilled Greek Diner-style Athenian chicken breast chunks on top. I haven't lived in the DC area in over 20 years and I still dream of Old Town Deli's "stinky salad" (aka sampler salad). First stop on my list every time I visit!
