When we found out that the Dave Koz concert at The Birchmere was cancelled, naturally we went to dinner at RT's. As usual, we weren't disappointed. I had two appetizers for my dinner, the calamari as a first course and the crawfish and shrimp beignets as my main course. Both were excellent, although the calamari alone would have been enough for dinner. My wife had the she crab soup (excellent as always) and the all-lump crabcakes. The crab cakes had very little filler...

This was our first visit to RT's Restaurant. It was a relatively small, but nicely designed, giving off a family restaurant feel. The services was excellent from the time we walked in until departure. The food and drinks were very delicious. We are looking forward to our next visit.

I’m from Baton Rouge, so I associate Cajun food with my birthday and Christmas. This week was my birthday, so we went to RTs for takeout. Wonderful crawfish etoufee, fried catfish, blackened scallops and hush puppies. Delicious!
