I placed a pick up order over the phone and staff was super nice and food was ready on time. The prices are also super reasonable for the amount of food you get. I’m going to give individuals ratings of everything I got below, but we ordered General Tsos, sweet-and-sour chicken and shrimp, shrimp egg foo young, beef and broccoli, combination lo mein, beef teriyaki sticks, egg rolls, crab cheese wontons, egg drop soup, and fried beef dumplings.

I've recently tried other Chinese restaurants in the area, however this remains my go-to Chinese takeout spot. Their General Tso's Chicken and Beef is especially delicious and satisfying but can be a bit heavy on the sauce. I also love their Beef with Broccoli which comes with tons of beef and nice chunks of broccoli. The lunch menu lasts until 3:00 p.m. each afternoon and is a solid value.

We had amazing food here at South China in Alexandria. The General Tso Chicken was recommended by the owner and it was the best I ever had. We also had combination lo-mein, fired string beans, and hot-and-sour soup. Everything was amazing. My friend also love the crab rangoons here.
