I'm surprised at the low reviews for this place - I have been coming to this particular Starbucks location more frequently, as they have made my drink perfect, each and every time - the staff here are friendly, and they greet everyone who walks in, which is so nice!I have done the ordering through the app, and the beverages have always been ready slightly before the quoted time.Parking is a bit of a pain, as the Alexandria Commons plaza is busy all the time - the spots fill up quickly, and you may have to park a bit further our or wait for a bit for availability. +well-prepared drinks+friendly service+tight parking+located in the Alexandria Commons plaza

I’m usually reticent to leave a negative review for a franchise, but this is one of the less competently run Starbucks franchises I’ve seen in the area, and has been consistently that way as long as I’ve visited it. Employees take much longer than average to acknowledge customers and take orders. They have staff standing around with latte samples instead of behind the counter when there’s a rush, and it’s clear they could be responsive to customers elsewhere. Multiple staff at the register have failed to understand simple orders in native English with clear diction. I’ve seen other locations with equal staff be substantially more effective. Clear room for improvement.

I went in on my special day, my birthday. The Starbucks app was supposed to scan for my free drink. It didn’t work and the barista nor his colleague would honor this. It clearly showed on the personal info page my birthdate grayed out. It was terrible customer service. They should have a workaround if the app isn’t functioning correctly. I was really looking forward to enjoying my free drink. I left and won’t be back.

I never know what I'm going to get when I order from here...it could be good one day and not good at all the next for the same drink. I had to call today and advised that my frappe was all ice and if they could make me another one, spoke to the manager. I brought the old drink in so they didn't think I was trying to get anything free. Seemed very nonchalant, not one apology, either on the phone or in person. So upset.
This place does not even deserve a star. Complete attitude from the person taking my order and the order was not even taken correctly. Waited a long time for the order to be prepared.

The lady who works weekday nights, Saba, bends over backwards for White customers of any age or gender but acts markedly different towards Asian customers. She barely wants to speak to you. I have to be in the area once a week and because of Saba's blatant discrimination I have switched over to Panera where service is friendly towards everyone. The two young men who work here are great and friendly towards everyone. In terms of speed, I always get my drink quickly. Facilities are well-maintained.
