“I work late and placed my order pretty close to closing time. I felt bad about this and was fully ready to receive a haphazardly prepared pizza and be greeted by annoyed employees.

This was fast from the truth!

My pizza was absolute perfection (the extra sauce was the PERFECT amount of extra-ness 🫠) and I was greeted with kindness when I arrived.

“I'd like to give a big shout out to the (only) Pizza Hut in Altavista. Last Sunday evening, I ordered a pizza online. About 5-10 minutes after submitting the transaction, a lady who I think was a manager called to say quite apologetic there was 3 or 4 orders ahead of me and there was only 1 delivery driver, and thus it might be close to an hour before I received my pizza. After I told her I still wanted the pizza, she told me she would give me a 10% discount for the inconvenience. My pizza arrived still hot between 30 - 45 minutes after originally placing the order. What great customer service! It was greatly appreciated. 👍👍“
