We went to the Soricha in Annandale to celebrate Mother’s Day early. We had a lovely server named Amanda who took care of us this Wednesday in the late afternoon and she was wonderful for my mother’s dairy allergies. She made certain that the condensed milk was in a separate container (for us dairy people) and added simple syrup in another pourer to supplement the sweetness for those who can’t have the condensed milk. Don't get me wrong I love soricha and I've been casually visiting since 2016 and get the cro waffle as a sweet treat. I've noticed that the bingsoo portions have stayed the same but the cro waffle is continuously getting smaller. For reference I attached a photo from 2021. It's the exact same plate but the portion portion is 1/4 of what is was back in 2021. Soricha is the only place that I know that has this dessert so I'm still going to be a customer,...
This café is clearly gaining popularity—Saturday afternoon was packed. The bingsoo remains consistently excellent and is always the highlight of my visit. However, the injeolmi toast seems to be getting lighter and thinner each time I return, which was a bit noticeable this time.
The interior is starting to show some wear and could benefit from a refresh, and the seating arrangement could use some improvement for better comfort.
