“SER never disappoints. I've been to dinner here multiple times over the years since SER opened - including their fabulous wine pairing dinners - and I feel so lucky to have this great restaurant in walking distance of my home. Dorada a la Sal is my favorite dish on the menu - make sure to get the tableside mashed potatoes as your side dish!“
“This place is AMAZING for gluten free eating. They are SO considerate and careful — the waitress, manager and chef all came out to talk to me in great detail about each dish and reassured me that they would be safe. They have lots of GF options and understand cross contamination well! I got the seafood paella dish and it was amazing. They do use a shared fryer so I would avoid anything fried. The skirt steak has beer in the marinade but the chef offered to cut a fresh piece from the steak and custom season it if you want to order it!The paella I got was better done than the paellas I’ve had at more expensive and fancier restaurants. There are so many options and the service is the best I think I’ve ever gotten. The atmosphere is also beautiful and better than I expected when seeing it from the outside. 11/10 recommendDietary restrictions: Staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable, chef will personally come out for any allergies or intolerances“
“I can’t recommend this place enough. The food and drinks are exceptional, but the service is what made it. There was a man harassing and trying to take pictures of a member of our party, and when the situation became clear the manager and staff took action and had the man removed. They then took special care to ensure we had a great rest of our night. I can’t say enough about the wonderful manager who took care of us!! Thank you.“
“We really enjoyed our visit. Hoshi (sp?) was our server and he was awesome. Knowledgeable, very personable and accommodating...he made our visit. He was actually the reason we chose to dine here. We were looking at the outside menu when he came out the door to service a sidewalk table and asked if we were going in as he held the door for us. When we said we were undecided, he said we should because it was the best food in Georgetown and that he had a great table for us right in the window. We all agreed that we should. The food was good. My steak, which I ordered medium rare came out medium well, but it tasted so good that I told Hoshi I would eat it anyway. I had the hibiscus margarita, which was amazing and was even topped with a hibiscus flower which was edible.“
“This is my first experience with this restaurant. I placed a take out order. The order was ready in 20 min. I ordered Papusa, Lomo Saltado, and Fajita mix. The food was very tasty, well prepared and very authentic. I will definitely dine-in next time.“
“Outstanding pupusas. I came here for a few pupusas. They have about four different ones. I had the cheese, the beans and cheese, and chicharon (fried pork). They were large, hot and really good flavor. The cabbage slaw (or pickled cabbage) was ok. I have had others with much better flavor, maybe with more vinegar? The salsa was pretty good. They were out of tamales. I would like to come back and try the tamales and Lomo Saltado. They serve Salvadorean and Peruvian food.“
