Terrible drinks, I suggest going to 7/11 next door and getting buzballs
Always a good time plus the weirdness is its charm.
One of my favorite spots, and one of the very few things that will get me to cross the river, is the Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse. It’s a special place — an old-school theater like we just don’t really have anymore.
They’ve got an amazing selection of talent and events, and unlike places like the Improv or The Loft, there’s no minimum (though the food is excellent, so I end up buying at least two items every time anyway).

The food menu is simple but satisfying, including options like pretzel sticks and chicken quesadilla. Drinks are reasonably priced and generously poured, with tasty choices like barrel-aged Old Fashioned. The venue is great for enjoying comedy shows or movies in a fun, relaxed environment, and it is located next door to a Thai place and a 24-hour taco joint. Overall, Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse is a hidden gem, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of DC and enjoying a comedy or movie night in a unique atmosphere.
