Best Buns is a gem of a bakery attached to Carlyle’s. I’ve lived in the area for three years now and its become a staple of mine to walk to and enjoy. The crew is organized, kind, and always on point. All of their pastries are great but my favorites are the baguettes (the ends mysteriously never make it home) and morning buns! ((For those that care they also serve Starbucks brand coffee.))
Love the cookies here! Also primarily writing this review to shout out the woman working the register today (blonde hair in a ponytail). She was SO incredibly kind and warm and genuinely made my experience that much better. Such a lovely person!
August 19, 2026 - Today I had the pleasure of walking into Best Buns and I was pleasantly overwhelmed by all of the scrumptious delights! I laid my eyes on this beautiful showcase of all of their pastries and breads and was in complete awe - so much so that I bought their buttery huge biscuits, red velvet cupcakes, pecan sticky buns and the large pecan loaf bread. Let me be very clear, if you haven’t been there, you better run!
