The food is quite good (far better than what you’d get anywhere else in DCA), and the price isn’t much more than surrounding fast food establishments. The staff is also helpful and polite, and the lounge area wasn’t at all busy (far nicer to spend time there than in the terminal). I would choose this place over anywhere else in DCA.
Im sitting here eating this $30 Cuban sandwich and its pretty good...ngl. Not a lot of choices in this area of DCA. But its been the best food I've had since flying in and out of here for over a decade.
While waiting for a flight home from work meetings at DCA, I found myself sitting at the District bar and restaurant. I ordered a surf and turf tacos and they were very good with just the right amount of kick. The airport was very busy and there were not a lot of places for a sit down meal pre flight so i was very impressed with the food, the price and the service.
