“Finding a Filipino restaurant isn’t easy. So learning about Purple Patch thru Jo Koy—has ended this search! Literally, Filipino cuisine heaven! The restaurant is uniquely decorated, the staff were friendly, & the food hit that major comfort button for us! Thank you Zahara for being so sweet & a wonderful waitress. We can’t wait to come back for more!“

“The tasty food is one thing BUT one thing which stood out for me is their great customer service. Jane and her other colleague were all smiles, kind and attentive. You can tell they love the job that they do. This is the kind of service you wanna comeback for more. I also appreciate that they're wearing a transparent mouth shield as it looks more neat than a regular mask. They offer free soup and coffee on top of your regular order which is great since it's winter around this time. I hope they can be consistent with their business approach and I wish their new store a success!“

“Great food and true Filipino hospitality by the pretty ate Wendy. We ordered Bistek, Sisig and Lechon Kawali, all ala carte and fried tilapia value meal. The serving sizes are good for 2-3 pax. The Bistek was tender, Sisig was savory and the Lechon Kawali was juicy and crispy! The tilapia was also crispy too! Plus the calamansi juice drink was sooo good. Got to meet Mang Eton and hear his stpries as well.
The food tasted like homecooked Pinoy food. Satisfied are tummies and our hearts. ❤️“

“I went for dinner here a month or two ago and every dish was incredible- from the ube bao bun to the tofu. We also loved the drinks.
Came back here on Friday to stop by the bar to get the Ube Colada (it’s so good!) and had such a lovely time. The bartenders are so kind and knowledgeable and it was the perfect place to close out a Friday evening.
Will definitely be back again for dinner or drinks and want to try their brunch!“

“My recent visit to Sari Filipino Kusina with my son was nothing short of a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere drew us in. The restaurant combines modern decor with touches of Filipino culture, creating a setting that’s both stylish and cozy.
The food is the real highlight. We started with lumpiang shanghai, which was perfectly crisp and packed with flavor, a promising start to our meal. I went for the adobo, which was tender, rich, and savory, while my son chose the sinigang, a soup that had just the right balance of tanginess and warmth. The lechon kawali we shared was incredibly crispy outside, with melt-in-your-mouth tenderness inside—a true treat.
Dessert was a shared halo-halo, and it was fantastic. It’s a layered, colorful mix of flavors and textures that ended the meal on a refreshing note.
Sari Filipino Kusina is a gem for anyone who loves authentic Filipino flavors or wants to try something new. Our meal here was not just food—it was a shared experience that we’ll remember fondly. Highly recommended!“

“The area is blessed with two Filipino cuisine locations. This business and Lumings.
For taste, I choose this place. The food is very flavorful and does not feel as fatty/oily as Lumings. Also, Kabayan's combo meal (rice and two entrees) does not break the bank and is a very good value.
For those desiring Filipino cuisine:
Kabayan: If you prefer flavor and less oily/fatty
Lumings: If you prefer BBQ and stuffed seafood
Both are 5-star establishments in my book“

“Fairfax Inn Restaurant, a cozy diner near Arlington Blvd and Sleepy Hollow Service Rd in Falls Church, is a hidden gem that offers a mix of traditional Filipino and American comfort foods. Their menu features unique, flavorful dishes with generous portions, including their notably large lumpia, as well as authentic fare like corned beef, Tocino, and Halo-Halo. The restaurant's old-school diner vibe is decorated with items reminiscent of the Philippines and country-style touches, and friendly staff, along with sizable servings, enhance the overall experience. I bought some desserts to take home, and everyone particularly enjoyed the Ube Cheese Pandesal.“

“Very good sushi and skewers. The bartender was super nice and made delicious cocktails. The Zuki moon Pilsner was very good as well. We got the deluxe tuna roll and rib eye skewers. Can’t wait to go back and try other items. Highly recommend!“

“Incredible chain fried chicken, with flavors from the Philippines! Spaghetti and drinks are great as well, however I will warn that the Filipino spaghetti is quite different from American or Italian Spaghetti! Chicken and gravy, cannot go wrong!“
