We enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night at Grand Cru. Eric and his team have the best customer service, taking the time to read our special request and offer options to accommodate. The staff is so friendly and the food and wine selection were very good!
We go there often and the it seems like the portion size has gone down as well as the price is going up . I understand the economy is not in a good spot right now, but it seems one or the other would be OK and not both . we were seated right next to a first date table, but there were other spaces available. The weight staff is usually very friendly and accommodating. My husband doesn't like that the quiche was taken off the menu. We miss the old beet salad. The seasonal ale...
The ambience is great. Feels like you are in a France. The food was just OK. French Onion soup was great and I thought the Lobster Mac was decent but I received my scallops and they were pretty cold. Also, the surf part of the surf and turf was nothing spectacular/lacking flavor.
