“I've always been a fan and a regular customer for years at this little neighborhood place esp when they run a much loved lunch buffet. I went back a few days ago to revisit their food and service. The service is as good as ever; however, I was surprised at how much they have increased on their prices. I guess expansion and growth (they opened another branch in Arlingnton several years ago) is inevitable and capitalizing on this popularity has its own upside and downside. I ordered their Paa Tad fish dish which did not disappoint but a simple fried fish and for its size, the price was a bit exorbitant for me. I would still visit the place but would be more careful about my choices next time.“

“We made a reservation for Baan Mae, which wasn't necessary but we wanted to ensure we had a table. The food is so complex and fresh. I've never been to any restaurant that compare to this one. The spring rolls were delicious and came with fresh mint, lettuce, rice noodle and peanut sauce to put together. We ordered the catfish with tumeric sauce that was heavenly and complex, and the noodles with brisket. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and will definitely return the next time we visit. Our waiter was extremely attentive and helpful.“
