In the 10 or so years I have been in Arlington and gone past Mario’s (and Carvel), never have I stopped in. That changed this past weekend. Always wondering if people do stop in, I got my answer.. the answer is yes.

The inside is small so the goal is to order and wait outside (they’ll open a window and call out order numbers). The staff are friendly but they are also fast trying to get orders in and send people out to not congest the inside.

I am originally a minnesota native.
Transplanted here in the d c area. My husband and father are the ones who turned me on to this Amazing amazing place.
Which they two had been visiting for over fifty years.
They have both since passed. And I am proud to say that 14 years later. I'm now the transplant carrying on the amazing tradition of mario's!!!!

We got the famous lefty subs!!!! Which are famous for a reason!!!!

To be fair in my review, I only had a slice of their square 🍕 and if I had the option of giving them a 3.5 I would. My biggest gripe is that I just felt like I paid too much for what I got and I understand that prices are inflated across the board, but even in this environment their prices seemed higher than they needed to be.
