“My Lady and I were in the Glen Allen, VA area to visit some of her relatives and her cousin took us to Suzanne’s for lunch. This was a real treat. I had potato salad and a reuben sandwich and some vegetable soup. The food was 5-Star and the best veggie soup that I’ve had in a very long time. When discussing the rating of the food with My Lady, she was knit-picking until I asked her about the big cookie that she had … her remark… “Off the chart!” Case closed. The ambiance is back-home country and one of us had to sit down at a table to hold our seats while 2 of us went to the counter to order the food. They also call your name when your order is ready and you have to go to the counter to pick it up. There is no table service.“

“We had a wonderful experience having Groovin Gourmet cater our wedding this past September! From the very beginning, Kaylyn was super informative and quick to respond to our emails. We were going back and forth between a lot of ideas and she helped us make the best informed decisions that fit with our vision as well as our budget. She was flexible and found ways to make our nontraditional requests possible. As for the day of the wedding, the staff were literally the sweetest. I remember during cocktail hour when I was getting so many pictures taken, one of the staff members went out of her way to make sure I had hors d’oeuvres to eat and a drink in my hand. As the bride and groom it’s easy to forget to eat, but we felt taken care of by them. They nailed the set up for dinner and were quick to accommodate the inclement weather. The cherry on top, our guests were raving about how good the food was! We really felt like Groovin had our back and would highly recommend them!“
“Oh my goodness, if I could give them 100 stars I would. I have been hosting weddings for over 43 years and have worked with hundreds of catering companies. Nicole and her team at Garnish were literally one of the very best I have ever seen. Nicole was sweet, professional and communicated throughout the evening. Her team - Mallory (Nicole's precious little sister), Drew, Nick, Chris and Chris (an extra star for being a Philly Eagles fan) attending to every detail of the October 8, 2022 wedding. Oh, and the food was fabulous! I hope to see them all again, soon and often.“
“How can this place not be among top 2 places in Short Pump? Wierd algorithms perhaps? For us, atmosphere is half of any dining experience. This place has it going on. On a chilly day, they had the open fire/fireplace going in the front dining area. Smelled and looked beautiful! The chili shrimp tostada was awesome as light happy hour starter. The wood-fired pizzas are the best around (just my opinion), particularly the spicy sausage with black pepper honey variety. Sweet with heat. Crispy edges on the pizza from the high temp oven. Love everything about this place and will return. Oh, solid craft beer options, too.“
“My husband, family, friends, and I are still talking about how amazing EAT Catering was at our wedding. From the food to the service, they are 10 out of 10. In addition to passed appetizers, we did a buffet style dinner, mac & cheese bar, and a plated salad to start, and it couldn’t have worked out better. Cocktail hour and dinner went so smoothly, and everyone loved the food. We had a couple people tell us they kept going up for more! The process from the initial tasting, to booking to final decisions to wedding day was so easy. I worked with Sheila mostly, and she was a pleasure to correspond with and always had a smile on her face while at the wedding. All the servers and bartenders were attentive and professional. My husband and I also liked that we could provide our own alcohol and EAT Catering had a mixer package, so we didn’t have to worry about all the little ingredients. I gave the recipes for our 3 signature drinks and let them know what liquor we got, and they took care of the rest. The drinks were all so good too! We had a guest count of about 90 and there was plenty of food for everyone plus leftovers, which were enjoyed as after wedding late night snacks and for a couple meals the next few days! We learned pretty quickly that catering costs can get quite high, EAT Catering has very reasonable prices and many different options to fit most budgets and when you take into account the quality of the food, service and experience, it’s one of the best values out there. After the wedding, my husband said, “can we have EAT Catering cater every single event from now on?” 100% recommend!“
